The Power of “Now” in Dentistry

“Wow – Dentistry is so expensive!”  We often hear this from our patients.  However, if you compare dental health care to medical care, it is often realized that it is actually not that expensive.  Whether getting treatment for bacteria infections, prosthesis, implants or medicine, the relative costs compared to regular medicine is indeed much lower.

However, just like regular medical care, dental care becomes more expensive the longer you wait.  For example, if you choose to place sealants on your teeth before a cavity develops, you may pay around $80 or less if you have dental benefits.  But, if you wait, you will eventually need a filling, which start around $150 and if you wait until you have to remove the tooth and replace it with an implant, your total cost will be above $5000.

If you or a loved one does not like to go to the dentist, please stop procrastinating.  The longer you wait, the more it will cost, and the more deterioration you will have potentially causing pain and overall body health issues.  Today, make the decision to create a beautiful, confident, and healthy smile.
